Fascinating, and a good stop in between Tamworth and Moree. Picnic tables and toilets and plenty of parking.
Great parking area, easy walk to Rocks. They were great to see , surrounding country on view along path was good too. Went down the stairs to the creek to get up close to rocks, well worth the effort. But of a worry about when the next piece might fall but managed to avoid that.
A fabulous spot. Very accessible to all and very worth seeing. Very spectacular geology. Even if you have seen the photos, you will still be taken by surprise !
Wasn't overly impressed! but it was a nice walk to the rock to see the beauty of nature's work ,they had a fire go through and it badly wants rain to bring every thing back to life ,must have arrived at the wrong time as the toilets were out of paper and because of the heat the stench in the toilets was overpowering,I suggest to bring your own paper and gas mask would be handy
Really amazing rocks. Worth driving from Sydney for 7 hours one way. This place is wheelchair friendly and local kids like playing games and do some climbing around the rocks. You know why we call these rocks sawn rocks when you first see them :). There is a creek nearby and you can notice the river bed. The best visiting time is just before the sunset and the light will turn these rocks into gold. Enjoy
